Fri June 4th Various Times: A all new 4K Restoration of the devilish Alec Guinness classic THE LADYKILLERS (1955) begins a one week run at NYC’s FILM FORUM. The last British film shot in the 3-strip Technicolor process, The Ladykillers has been restored by Studiocanal from the original Technicolor camera negatives. More info HERE.

Fri June 4th 9:30pm: The legendary Vincent Price horror classic THE TINGLER (1959) screen in 35mm at Chicago’s MUSIC BOX THEATER. Audience members used to be ‘zapped’ by buzzers installed in random seats to heighten the terror on screen! More info HERE.

Fri June 4th 7:30pm: Oscar winner Bong Joon-ho’s breakout monster movie THE HOST (2012) screens at NYC’s MUSEUM OF THE MOVING IMAGE x QUEENS DRIVE IN. Screens with two short films. More info HERE.

Fri June 4th 6pm (Gates) / Sundown (Show): It’s ‘Hanks-Giving Weekend’ at THE MAHONING DRIVE IN! Catch the eternally watchable Tom Hanks in a Double Feature of A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN (1992) + SLEEPLESS IN SEATTLE (1993) in 35mm. More info HERE.

Ongoing: One of NYC’s Cinema jewels THE ANTHOLOGY FILM ARCHIVES is currently offering an extensive lineup of free online screenings as part of their current ‘BALTIC MODERNIST CINEMA: BETWEEN IMAGINARY AND REAL’ series with several titles spanning the 1960s and 1970s. More info HERE.

Sat June 5th 6:15pm: With anticipation for the new Bond installment still building, it’s high time to revisit the original of the series. GOLDFINGER (1964) screens at PRINCE CHARLES CINEMA London as part of their ongoing 007 Classics Season. More info HERE.

Sat June 5th 1pm & 7pm: Tim Burton’s vision of the Dark Knight remains the definitive big screen incarnation for many, and rightfully so. Catch BATMAN (1989) back on the big screen at THE COOLIDGE CORNER THEATER. More info HERE.

Quentin Tarantino’s NEW BEVERLY CINEMA has finally reopened and judging by the string of sold out 35mm sessions, it’s been long anticipated. Sessions are sold out until mid June, however check out what’s in store including a rare Technicolor Print of BULLIT and more HERE.

Sat June 5th 7:30pm: The immortal James Dean classic REBEL WITHOUT A CAUSE (1955) screens in glorious 35mm Cinemascope at HOLLYWOOD LEGION THEATER. More info HERE.

Sat June 5th 5pm: Classic Hong Kong horror with the Shaw Brothers 1976 classic REVENGE OF THE ZOMBIES. Screens at Brooklyn NY’s FILM NOIR CINEMA & VIDEO. More info HERE.

Sun June 5th 8pm: MAD MAX FURY ROAD: BLACK & CHROME (2014), believed to be George Miller’s preferred version, screens in glorious black and white at THE TEXAS THEATER. Highly recommended. More info HERE.
