UPDATED! SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL FILM HOUSES WITH VIRTUAL SCREENINGS
The recent COVID-19 outbreak is obviously a huge blow to the independent cinema community which all help keep the art of cinema alive, and our favorite movies on the big screen. Not only that, it employs a group of very passionate individuals.
In the face of this, some cinemas are presenting ‘VIRTUAL SCREENINGS’ which allows you to stream new release independent films at home. We’ll keep a running list here. Please support them and go direct to your local cinemas page if you are seeking indie new release rentals, instead of Amazon.
We will also keep you updated here with any large scale fundraising campaigns to help film houses offset costs during this period, as well as special programs of Q&A’s and clips.
Also, please visit our Theatres page to see if any film houses are fund raising to remain open. Many are accepting them and receiving some much needed help.
