FRIDAY AUGUST 9TH
Fri 6pm: Get set for the Universal Monster Mash at the Mahoning Drive In in Pennsylvania with a classic Monster Movie Double Feature of REVENGE OF THE CREATURE (1955) + THE MUMMY'S HAND (1940).
Fri 7pm: At the Greenville Drive In NY catch Christopher Reeve, the best screen Man of Steel, in SUPERMAN 2 (1980) with villainous General Zod played to perfection by Terrence Stamp. Also screens Saturday and Sunday.
Fri 7:30pm: Hollywood’s Egyptian Theatre pays tribute to Rutger Hauer with a Double Feature of LADYHAWKE (1985) plus FLESH+BLOOD (1985) in 35mm.
Fri 7:30pm: Molly Shannon is hilarious in her cult favorite SUPERSTAR (1999) celebrating 20 years at Portland's Hollywood Theatre.
Fri 8pm: Music movies don't come too much more iconic than the visual odyssey that is PINK FLOYD: THE WALL (1982) screening in 35mm at Detroit's Redford Theatre.
Fri 9pm: The 1980s horror classic SLEEPAWAY CAMP (1983) screens at The Texas Theatre plus Q&A with actor Felissa Rose
SATURDAY AUGUST 10TH
Sat 3pm: The beloved documentary of two society fixtures once the center of social circles who live on its outermost fringes in a dilapidated mansion in the East Hampton. GREY GARDENS (1975) screens with a New Restoration at Paramount Theatre in Austin Texas.
Sat 3pm: Weird Al Yankovic stars in the cult classic UHF (1989) at Texas Theatre in Dallas.
Sat 3:30pm & 6:30pm: No introduction needed for the influential science fiction landmark that is 2001: A SPACE ODYSSEY (1968), screening in 70mm at NYC's Museum of the Moving Image. The ONLY way it should be seen. Also at Sydney Australia's Ritz Cinema.
Sat 4:05pm: ICE STATION ZEBRA screens at NYC's Quad Cinema in 35mm and was known as of Howard Hughes' favorite movies with Oscar winning cinematography.
Sat 2:30pm & 7pm: The grandest of widescreen classics, LAWRENCE OF ARABIA (1962), is presented in glorious 70mm at San Francisco's equally glorious film palace The Castro Theatre.
Sat 6:30pm: Wonderfully kitsch, THE BLOB (1958) stars a young Steve McQueen and will screen with an intro by Blob editor Al Hillmann at AFI Silver in Maryland.
Sat 7pm: SMITHEREENS (1982) is the wonderfully gritty punk era time capsule of Downtown 1980s Manhattan, screening at NYC's BAM Rose Cinemas.
Sat 6:45pm (Gates): The groundbreaking classic John Singleton BOYZ IN THE HOOD (1991) plays at the legendary Hollywood Forever Cemetery with live music by Questlove +DJ Pooh.
Sat 7:30pm: A super Rutger Hauer tribute Triple Feature of the brilliant THE HITCHER (1986) + NIGHTHAWKS (1981) + HOBO WITH A SHOTGUN (2011) all in 35mm! Screening at Hollywood’s Egyptian Theatre.
Sat 8:45pm: Venture back on board the Enterprise with all your favorote deep space explorers in STAR TREK II: THE WRATH OF KHAN: DIRECTOR'S CUT (1982) at London's Prince Charles Cinema.

Sun 11:30am: Every game fan has a soft spot for MORTAL KOMBAT (1995), a film that is probably the only video game film to endure as a favorite, in all it's 90s techno glory. Screens at North Park Theatre in Buffalo New York. $5 Tix. Also screens Saturday.
Sun 1pm: Japanese classic GATE OF HELL (1953) was the first color film from the Daiei studio, made with imported Eastman color stock, screens in 35mm at Metrograph NYC.
Sun 2pm: Another in NYC's BAM Rose Cinemas spotlight on the defining American Female Directors of the 1980s with CROSSING DELANCEY (1988) in 35mm.
Sun 2:45pm: Robert De Niro and Liza Minelli star in Martin Scorsese's NEW YORK, NEW YORK (1977), original Directors Cut, at AFI Silver in Maryland.
Sun 3:35pm: The mightiest of all Martial Arts epics that thrust Bruce Lee into Western cinema history forever. ENTER THE DRAGON (1973) screens with a Super Rare 35mm Print of the UNCUT VERSION at London's Prince Charles Cinema.
Sun 8:25pm: Hitchcock's forever stunning NOTORIOUS (1946) stars Cary Grant and Ingrid Bergman and screens at Scotland's Filmhouse Cinema.
